Why we built it
We maintain Enfold sites. That is where this came from.
Speed Booster is not a side project. We build and look after Enfold sites for our clients, and we kept hitting the same two walls.
The theme's own performance settings – merge and compress CSS and JavaScript – broke on us again and again, usually after an update touched the CSS files Enfold writes into the uploads folder. So we switched them off and took that job over.
The usual cache plugins did not get us where we needed to be either, least of all on heavy sites. So we wrote what was missing – and we run it on our own sites first.

Questions
Will it break the Avia Layout Builder?
No. Avia core scripts and jQuery are excluded from defer and delay, and builder previews are never cached.
Does it replace WP Rocket or my current cache plugin?
Yes. Deactivate your old cache and optimisation plugins first – never run two page caches at once.
Is it safe to install on a live site?
Make a backup, activate, then run the compatibility scan. Deactivating removes the cache drop-in and all rules it added.
What happens when my licence expires?
The plugin keeps working. Only updates and support stop until you renew. Lifetime licences never expire.
